شاركت فنانة النحت المصرية مريم رضوان في فعاليات مسابقة أربين الدولية للنحت على الثلج والجليد في دورتها الـ ٣٢، والتي أقيمت في الفترة من ٦ الي ١٣ يناير - الحدث هو الاول من نوعه الذي تشارك فيه مصر.
Egyptian sculptor Mariam Radwan participated in the 32nd Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition which took place between January 6 and 13 at Harbin Ice-Snow World in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. The event was the first of its kind in which Egypt participated.
مريم رضوان تخرجت من كلية التربية الفنية عام ٢٠١١، وتحضر لدرجة الماجستير في فن النحت. وعرفت
مريم عن المسابقة عن طريق صديق من الصين، فدفعها فضولها للاشتراك بها. راسلت مريم اللجنة المنظمة للمسابقة، وبعثت لهم صور من أعمالها، وتم قبلوها ودعوتها للاشتراك في المسابقة. اشترك مصطفي شقيق مريم في المسابقة معها كمساعد لها.
Mariam Radwan graduated from the Faculty of Art Education in 2011. She is studying for her master's degree in sculpture. Mariam found out about the competition from a friend in China. She was curious to attend. Mariam corresponded with the organizing committee and sent them pictures of her work. She was accepted and they sent her an invitation to attend. Mustafa Mariam's brother participated in the competition with her as her assistant.
وفي درجات حرارة بلغت ٢٧ تحت الصفر، اشترك الفريق المصري في مسابقتين، الاولي هي نحت الجليد والثانية هي نحت الثلج – وهناك فرق كبير بينهم كما شرحت مريم، “المسابقة الاولي، نحت الجليد، يستخدم فيها الثلج المجمد من النهر وهو شفاف اللون، اما المسابقة الثانية، نحت الثلج، فيستخدم فيها الثلج الذي يتساقط من السماء بعد تجميعه في صناديق خاصة. وهذا لونه ابيض.”
At 27 degrees below zero, the Egyptian team participated in two competitions. The first was ice sculpture and the second was snow sculpture. There is a big difference between them, Mariam explained. "The first competition, ice sculpture, uses frozen ice from the river. It is transparent in color. The second, the snow sculpture, uses snow falling from the sky after collecting it in special boxes. This is white in color."
في مسابقة نحت الجليد حصل الفريق المصري علي جائزة شرفية لمشاركته في المسابقة، أما المسابقة الثانية، وهي نحت الثلج، فكانت بالشراكة مع فنانين نحت من بولندا. وقد حصل العمل علي جائزة الـ Excellence Award جائزة التميز
In the ice sculpture competition, the Egyptian team won an honorary prize for participating in the competition. The second competition, snow sculpture, was in partnership with sculptors from Poland. The team was awarded the Excellence Award.
