Her different character that loves adventures, makes her to apply for the Ice and Snow competition last year for the first time to represent the Egyptian team by staying in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province Harbin at 27 degrees below zero.
Mariam was curious to attend the contest in Harbin Ice-Snow World by seeing the ice Sculptures from all over the world and create her own artistic work there.
"I am so proud when I see here the Egyptian flag at Harbin Ice & Snow Sculpture Festival this year also, it's pleasure to represent the Egyptian participation as a First Egyptian Team who Sculpt on Ice and Snow in the most important festival in the world for the second year running." Said the team leader.
Mariam record the first participation for Egyptian artists who sculpt on ice and snow with her team, we can also considered her team as a first Arabic team who create their sculpture in Harbin Ice & Snow Sculpture Festival.
